Big Top Quilt

This is a complicated wedge-based pattern that

uses foundation paper piecing, templates,

curved piecing and giant blocks! Brigit will walk the

participants through the pattern and explain

some of the unusual techniques that result in

this truly unique quilt. We will talk about how to

use color to quiet or enliven the design with a

demonstration of different color schemes and

quilts that use solids and prints. Participants will

complete one wedge in the class, giving them all

the skills they need to complete the pattern.

Registration for this event will open on November 20th.  This event is only open to current members of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild.  If AMQG membership for 2024 is not renewed for any registrant by January 13th, their registration will be cancelled to allow for a current member to join the class.
