Registration is closed
**Now open to non-members!  Invite your friends to take a class with AMQG!**

Learn how to use local foraged materials, common food waste to create beautiful, light-fast natural dyed fabric to use in your quilts! Participants will learn the basics of preparing (mordanting) cotton fabric, and then experiment with a selection of dyes using prepared fabric provided by the instructor. Experiment with a range of techniques including eco-prints, over-dyeing, and using historical dye plants to obtain a rainbow of colors! The possibilities of color are all around us in the garden, kitchen, or on the trail. Participants will receive a workshop handout with recipes, advice, and an extensive list of resources. Participants will dye their own 8 Fat Quarter bundle to start their own naturally-dyed stash.
All fabric and supplies included, just wear comfy clothes that could be stained.
