Fall Retreat 2023

AMQG fall retreat in McQueeney (a little more than an hour from Austin, SE of New Braunfels, NW of Seguin) at the Queens Rustic Retreat, Friday, October 27 through Sunday, October 29. 

Here's some basic logistics info: 

• Minimum of 8 required for retreat to happen.
• Retreat center is two story, has beds for up to 20, a huge workroom with fully adjustable rolling sewing chairs, and fully equipped kitchen.
• Registration fee is $130 for the two nights/three days.  If you have to cancel you will either forfeit the fee or you will need to find another quild member to attend in your place.  
• Registration fee does not cover any food or any materials or supplies for quilting (but if you need something Fiberworx Fabric Studio and Quilt Shop is located just 1/2 mile west on FM 78).
• Food may be coordinated by the group of registrants, or you can do you own thing (food is not included in the cost of this retreat with the exception of coffee and tea provided by the center).
  
• All registrants will be asked to take a COVID-19 home test and share their test results with the rest of the group before coming out to the retreat.
• Masks will not be required at the retreat (but you are welcome to wear one); only folks who test negative, do not have COVID-19 symptoms, and do not have recent direct exposure will be able to come (a full refund will be issued to folks who test positive, have symptoms, or direct exposure). 
• Check in is at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, check out is at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
• Sleeping arrangements are shared rooms.
